Hi I'm Ashley,
I've had a camera in my hands since I was a kid.
When I turned 16 I was gifted a Minolta 35mm and it went with me EVERYWHERE. I took pictures of anything and anyone that caught my eye, never worried about what others thought of the weird kid with a camera.
When I became a mom I learned the value of a photograph, the ability to freeze a specific moment in time. As my family ages I cherish the memories attached to those photos while continuing to create more. At some point I realized that I could freeze those moments for others and not just myself and thus Light & Shadow Photography was born.
Meet Jim,
My husband and best friend.
He has the uncanny ability to put you at ease, make you laugh and he's also a great story teller. He helps me behind the scenes, usually as the other half to my brain. He's the best hype man I've ever had as well as a great posing coach for the gentlemen. He's my partner in life and partner in business so if you see him around just know we're in good hands.
